LISA LEWECK, P.E. – Principal
Lisa is one of the two founding principals of Kettler Leweck Engineering. With over 20 years of experience, Lisa has designed and managed diverse Civil Engineering projects as a licensed engineer.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at San Diego State University, her career started in large scale master planned developments and transitioned to urban redevelopment. Her position as Principal–in-Charge included managing an Urban Engineering Department that successfully constructed over 70 redevelopment projects in Downtown San Diego alone. She has been instrumental in a broad spectrum of complex projects that include hotels, retail/commercial/mixed use, parks, municipal roadways and a multi-discipline multi-agency waterfront project.
Lisa is well versed in managing projects from their early inception through their entitlement phase and preparation and processing of construction documents through construction. She is intimately involved with the technical design of projects from schematic design to completion. She has been responsible for successfully managing a large business unit and large multi-discipline design teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Along with the depth and diversity of the types of project, Lisa has processed projects through numerous agencies such as the City of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, San Diego, National City, Chula Vista, Escondido and Santee; the County of San Diego, and the Port of San Diego.
Along with her husband Craig, Lisa is raising two sons Lars and Trevor. As a native San Diegan, she thoroughly enjoys being involved in projects that are shaping her region.
